sensors
Parking sensor
A standard magnetometer for detecting the occupancy of a parking space. It is used in very busy places, especially in the city center, or in parking lots with limited parking time. It can also be used to detect the presence of a vehicle at a level crossing.
Specifications
LIFETIME
the battery-powered sensor has a lifespan of up to 8 years. The lifetime depends on the frequency of transmission and the number of detected vehicles per day.
DIMENSIONS
cylinder 100×130 mm
INSTALLATION
the sensor is installed using a 150 mm deep core hole made in the central axis of the parking space in the place where the front axle of the parked vehicle is expected.
COMMUNICATION
the sensor is able to communicate via various IoT networks, i.e. LoRa, SIGFOX or IQRF. According to the limits of the given network, it provides information to the cloud environment.
DETECTION
the sensor is a magnetometer, i.e. a sensor of the change in the geomagnetic field caused by the passage of a vehicle.
POWER SUPPLY
the sensor is battery-powered and does not require connection to the mains.

You can find everything in one place
All data is available online in a clear environment. Thanks to this, it is possible to work with data effectively and use it in practice.
Mobile application or just scan the QR code
There is a mobile application in which you can get information about individual sensors by simply scanning a QR code.
Just scan the QR code
Each detector is registered with a unique QR code, which the installation crew reads using the registration mobile application at the installation site. This will automatically register the sensor element with its ID, GPS location and time of installation. In addition, the application itself offers to carry out the installation according to the prepared plan, as it provides the installation crew with navigation to the crime scene and continuous monitoring of the daily task.
How the installation works
Step 1.
The sensors are installed below the road surface through a core bore with a diameter of 100 mm, to a depth of 150 mm.
Step 2.
The core hole in the roadway is dried so that there is no standing water in it.
Step 3.
The bottom of the borehole is filled with siliceous sand and a sensor is inserted into the borehole.
Step 4.
The settled sensor is further sprinkled and completely covered with sand so that only the tip of the sensor protrudes above the sand and the sand is compacted with the fingers.
Step 5.
The edge of the borehole is cleaned of sand so that the subsequently applied cold asphalt mixture adheres to the edge of the borehole with a thickness of at least 15 mm.
