sensors
Current drop sensor
A simple sensor that monitors electric current levels, placed in a public lighting switchboard, for the purpose of detecting possible cable line or light source malfunctions. For facility management purposes, a management system and a notification service for maintenance workers can be added.
Specifications
LIFETIME
the battery-powered sensor has a lifespan of up to 5 years. Lifetime depends on broadcast frequency.
DIMENSIONS
120×40×30 mm
INSTALLATION
very simple installation, where the sensor is installed in any switchboard using an integrated magnet and the corresponding line is snapped on using clamps. To use radio communication, it is necessary to overcome the potential Faraday cage by moving the antenna outside the switchboard.
COMMUNICATION
the sensor is able to communicate via various IoT networks, i.e. LoRa, SIGFOX or IQRF. According to the limits of the given network, it provides information to the cloud environment.
DETECTION
the sensor is a detector of electric current amplitudes.
POWER SUPPLY
the sensor is battery-powered and does not require connection to the mains.
